マリンバを強調している曲ですが、これも伊福部さんの作曲としては名曲ですよ。この人の力強い民族音楽は日本人の宝物ですよ。世界のオーケストラで伊福部音楽が広まることを願っています。m(_ _)m

安倍圭子さんのマリンバテクニックがこれまたすばらしいですね。やはりプロですよ。マリンバの良さを引出した演奏ですね。オーケストラの楽団員との連携も音を聴いていて見事だと思います。(^^)

I saw this work performed live, with Keiko Abe on marimba, in Madrid. I think it was June 1990. I was mesmerised by the music and the choreography. Tears were rolling down both my cheeks. I had a CD brought to me from Japan with works by Ifukube, played by the Shinsei Nihon Symphony Orchestra and conducted by Kazuo Yamada. The recording of this work on the CD is from September 1979.

That CD was my first experience of this master piece. Barbaric and divine, and primitive uplifting feeling at the same time.

石井眞木さんといえば「飛天生動」シリーズや「サーティーンドラムス」などを作曲されていてマリンバや打楽器をさらうものには知らない者はいないほどの方。その作品はどれもマリンバや打楽器の新たな可能性を引き出すものばかり。
その方の指揮に安倍圭子さんの演奏、「ラウダ」というマリンバという楽器に対する打楽器的音楽表現の可能性への挑戦がマッチして、唯一無二であり目指されるような世界観を形成している。
さぞ素晴らしい名演だったのでしょう。
